Green on a roof [scenery]
This is a picture I took on last Sunday from the monorail train in Naha. Since the beginning of the monorail, the city has been recommending the peolpe living along the rail road to grow greens on their own roofs for the eyes of passengers.
Actully, they make us feel relaxed.
Fishing in the Street [scenery]
Do you like fishing? I do. I love fishing very much, but maybe not as much as the kids here.
They enjoy fishing in the street on a Sunday afternoon. About 4, Sunday, November 15th, 2009.
A Sushi Restaurant [scenery]
Have you ever seen this building? Can you guess what this building was? Of course you can tell if you can read the sign written in Kanji.
This old looking building was, or should have been, a sushi restaurant because the sign says "Kimuraya Sushi Lunch Box". It's on a street called Ukishima Dori in Naha City. It seems no one lives or runs a business there any more. But it should have been a very popular restaurant once.

A Pedestrians' Day [scenery]
Every Sunday, the main street of Naha City, Kokusai Dori, become a street only for pedstrians. No cars and motor bikes are allowed to drive in.
Kids with their families, enjoy playing around. It's just like a small festival.

Lonely Street, Tsukishiro Town [scenery]
I don't know how long the shops have been closed, but it seems they have been closed for a long time.
I drove through the town last Sunday by chance for the first time and found the main street was very lonely. It is a town developed by a private developer some tens years ago in a southen area in Okinawa Islnad.
