This is a play park for kids in Shuri, Naha.

As you can see no kids are playing there. Maybe it is too hot to play or not so many kids live around.

Sugar Loaf

Can you tell what the building is? It's a water tank for Naha Chity.
The place that the tank is standing is a small hill used to be called "Sugar Loaf". Have you ever heard the name? If you are over 80 years old, and took part in the Battle of Ryukyus, Okinawa Japan. You might have heard the name of the hill. Because this is one of the toughest battle fields in Okinawa. And American Soldiers name it the Sugar Loaf. It is located by the New Center of Naha City.

Sunflower Field in Nanjou City

Do you like sunflower? If you like that, you would love to visit the sunflower fields in Okinawa.

Here in Okinawa, some farmers grow sunflowers in their fields as an organic fertilizer to make the soil rich.

And at the same time a lot of people come to see the flower all over Okinawa, sometimes from mainland Japan.

Ryutan Ike

This is a pond located in a old castle town called Shuri. The name of the pond is Ryutan Ike.

There are many carps there. So some people enjoy fishing on holidays.

Another Entrance or the Exit?

This is another entrance of a shopping mall called Heiwadori Shoutengai. Unlike its main entrance facing the busiest street in Okinawa, this entrance faces a narrow and sort of quiet street called Tsuboya Dori.

Maybe you can say this is the exit of the shopping mall because it is the other end of the mall.

This movie theater is located on the corner of the most crowded street in Okinawa. It is the first movie theater complex building in Okinawa. Can you read it's name? Yes, it is "Mihama 7 Plex."
